- We are committed to a programme to counter the risk of the firm being involved in bribery.
These principles and rules extend to all our Business Partners –and we have zero tolerance to violation of these principles and their enforcement.
Anti-Money Laundering Statement
Our Company and all its affiliates require strict adherence to the following statement and commitments from all parties involved in business dealings with our Company, including (without being limitative) its employees and stakeholders, clients, non-client business contacts, contractors, and service providers (“Business Partner.s”).
We will ask for information about potential clients and Business Partners, and the nature of the proposed scope of work for the purpose of conflict checking, credit checking, client verification procedures and other bona fide purposes. Please note that, to assist in satisfying the principles covered by this statement as well as legal obligations, this information (which may include personal data) may be shared with any affiliated entity for such purposes. We may need your assistance to satisfy these requirements. Without compliance with these obligations, we will not be able to work for you.
The foregoing applies to our obligations to take measures to prevent and combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism in accordance with international laws and regulations, as well as local laws where applicable.
These principles and rules extend to all our Business Partners –and we have zero tolerance to money laundering.
Anti-Facilitation of Tax Evasion Statement
Our Company and all its affiliates require strict adherence to the following statement and commitments from all parties involved in business dealings with our Company, including (without being limitative) its employees and stakeholders, clients, non-client business contacts, contractors, and service providers (“Business Partner.s”).
We do not tolerate facilitation of tax evasion, wherever it may occur. We expect our clients as well as our Business Partners and the businesses and people we engage with to fully comply with their tax obligations. We will not tolerate any of our partners, employees, agents or Business Partners knowingly assisting or encouraging tax fraud by any of the clients, suppliers or others that we do business with anywhere in the world.
We are committed to the following principles:
- Upholding the rule of the law and the proper administration of justice;
- Carrying out business fairly, honestly and openly;
- Refusing to provide our services where we know or suspect them to be being misused or abused by a client or Business Partner for the purposes of tax evasion; nor will we aide, facilitate or support actions which assist in evasion of tax liabilities; and
- Not buying services or goods from any supplier or consultant where we know or suspect them not to be properly declaring their income and any relevant tax and duties in connection with those activities.
We will not engage in transactions which we know or suspect facilitates tax evasion, even if it may result in us losing business.
Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Our Company and all its affiliates require strict adherence to the following statement and commitments from all parties involved in business dealings with our Company, including (without being limitative) its employees and stakeholders, clients, non-client business contacts, contractors, and service providers (“Business Partner.s”).
We take steps to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business. In this regard, we are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or involving any Business Partner. Our Anti-slavery policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or involving any Business Partner.
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have put in place systems to:
- identify and assess potential risk areas including in relation to Business Partners;
- mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring at or involving any Business Partner;
- monitor potential risk areas occurring at or involving any Business Partner; and
- protect whistle blowers.
